Congresswoman Deborah Ross, representing North Carolina's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, has shared her views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. Ross, who succeeded George Holding in 2021 and previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2003 to 2013, expressed concerns over actions taken by President Trump and highlighted her role as Policy Task Force Chair for the Democratic Women's Caucus.

On January 21, 2025, Ross commented on actions taken by President Trump during his first day in office. Later that day, she addressed potential economic impacts related to offshore wind energy. On January 21, 2025, she tweeted: "Offshore wind energy has already proven to be a boon to North Carolina's economy, but Trump's action yesterday could disrupt planned wind farms. In another tweet on January 21, 2025, Ross expressed enthusiasm about her new role within the Democratic Women's Caucus.
