The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the Florida Panthers for the second consecutive day in a matchup scheduled for Saturday, November 30. The game will begin at 4:00 p.m. ET and can be watched on FanDuel Sports Network South or listened to via 99.9 The Fan and the Hurricanes App.

The Hurricanes, currently holding a record of 16-6-1 with 33 points, are tied for second place in the Metropolitan Division. They suffered a loss against the Panthers on Friday with a score of 6-3. In contrast, the Panthers have a record of 13-9-1 and sit second in the Atlantic Division.

Reflecting on their previous game, Rod Brind'Amour commented that his team was "not having what they needed to beat that team." Despite this setback, Shayne Gostisbehere stood out by contributing two assists.

Carolina's power play has been effective recently, extending their scoring streak to five games. Martin Necas leads all NHL skaters with 17 power-play points.

Seth Jarvis returned from an upper-body injury earlier this week and has scored in each of his last three games. He has accumulated 16 points over 16 games so far this season.

In goal, Spencer Martin struggled during Friday's match but might start again today unless Yaniv Perets makes his NHL debut. Pyotr Kochetkov remains doubtful due to concussion protocol concerns.

Florida comes into today's game after winning their last two matches. The Panthers' offense ranks sixth among NHL teams, averaging 3.54 goals per game but also allowing an average of 3.33 goals per game—seventh-most in the league.

Goaltender Frederik Andersen is expected to be sidelined for up to three months following knee surgery announced on November 21st. Jesper Fast is out for the entire season due to an earlier ruling in August.

For Saturday’s game, Carolina will don their white uniforms as part of their seasonal schedule attire.

Following this contest against Florida, Carolina will rest on Sunday before returning home to host Seattle on Tuesday night at PNC Arena.
