Carolina Hurricanes recall goaltender Spencer Martin from Chicago Wolves

Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, has announced the recall of goaltender Spencer Martin from the Chicago Wolves. Martin, 29, has participated in three AHL games for Chicago this season, achieving a record of 1-1-1 with a 2.32 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.

The Oakville native played in 19 NHL games during the 2023-24 season with Columbus and Carolina, recording a 3.30 goals-against average and an .889 save percentage. Drafted by Colorado in the third round of the 2013 NHL Draft, Martin has appeared in 57 career NHL games with various teams including Colorado, Vancouver, Columbus, and Carolina. His overall record stands at 21-26-7 with a 3.52 goals-against average and an .887 save percentage.
