The Carolina Hurricanes secured their third consecutive victory by defeating the Seattle Kraken 4-1 at Climate Pledge Arena. The game saw the Hurricanes score in each period, starting with Andrei Svechnikov's power-play goal in the first period. Jack Drury added to the lead in the second period, capitalizing on a 2-on-1 rush.

Jared McCann scored for Seattle midway through the third period, but Seth Jarvis responded with a breakaway goal, and Dmitry Orlov sealed the win with an empty-netter. Frederik Andersen made 18 saves on 19 shots, extending his winning streak to three starts.

Carolina's defensive play was crucial as they limited Seattle to seven shots or fewer per period. The team's power play has been effective recently, marking five straight games with a power-play goal.

Rod Brind'Amour praised his team's performance: "It was a really good game for us, from start to finish... I love the way that we just responded."

Seth Jarvis highlighted special teams' contribution to their success: "I think our special teams has been good. It's been a key part in all games."

Dmitry Orlov emphasized strong starts and solid goaltending: "All of our games have had a good start... Today Freddie was outstanding."

The Hurricanes will conclude their road trip against Vancouver on Monday night before returning home to face Boston on Thursday.
