The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the Seattle Kraken on Saturday, October 26. The game is scheduled for a 10:00 p.m. ET puck drop and will be broadcasted on FanDuel Sports Network South and available for listening on 99.9 The Fan and the Hurricanes App.

The Hurricanes come into this matchup with a record of 4-2-0, tied for fourth in the Metropolitan Division, following a recent 4-2 victory over the Calgary Flames. In that game, Martin Necas scored his 100th NHL goal, contributing to an early lead alongside Seth Jarvis and Jack Roslovic. Eric Robinson sealed the win with an empty net goal. Goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov not only secured the win but also earned his first NHL point.

Frederik Andersen is expected to start in net against Seattle after previously securing wins in Pittsburgh and Edmonton during this road trip.

Sebastian Aho continues his impressive performance with a five-game point streak, while Shayne Gostisbehere leads defensemen league-wide in goals despite ending his four-game goal streak recently.

The Kraken hold a record of 4-3-1 and have seen mixed results under coach Dan Bylsma, winning four of their first six games but losing their last two. Joey Daccord has shown promise as goaltender with a .907 save percentage.

Injury updates for the Hurricanes include Jesper Fast being out for the season since August and Riley Stillman recovering from a lower-body injury since September.

Following this game, the Hurricanes will travel to Vancouver for their next match on Monday, October 28, concluding their road trip before returning home for Halloween night against an unspecified opponent.
