The Trump campaign has introduced a new television advertisement titled 'Gonna' in North Carolina. The ad emphasizes claims about Vice President Kamala Harris's stance on taxes, specifically referencing her opposition to the Trump Tax Cuts.

The campaign argues that Harris's decisions negatively impact the financial well-being of North Carolinians. "Kamala has proven time and time again that she couldn’t care less about the financial well-being of North Carolinians," states the ad. It further claims that if these tax cuts expire, taxpayers in North Carolina could face an additional cost of $2,302 according to analysis by the Tax Foundation.

Highlighting President Trump's commitment to tax relief, the campaign asserts, "Kamala Harris keeps draining the wallets of North Carolinians while President Trump is committed to helping them keep more of their money." The message urges voters to support Trump in the upcoming election to maintain affordability.

Karoline Leavitt, National Press Secretary for the Trump Campaign, reinforced these points stating, "President Trump passed the largest tax CUTS for working families in history and will make them permanent when he is back in the White House." She added that repealing these cuts could result in Americans paying over $2,500 more annually on average.

The advertisement and statements are part of ongoing efforts by Trump's team to sway voters by focusing on economic issues as a central theme ahead of November's elections.
