INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On the final day of the U.S. Olympic trials, it was announced that Braden Holloway, head coach of Wolfpack Swim and Dive, will join Team USA in Paris as an assistant coach.

Holloway will be one of six coaches making the trip, working with women's head coach Todd DeSorbo (Virginia) and men's head coach Anthony Nesty (Florida). The coaching staff will be divided into men's and women's teams but will be available to all participating athletes.

The 10-time ACC Coach of the Year will join Katharine Berkoff in Paris, who qualified for the games with a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke.

Holloway brings significant international experience to Paris, having served as the men's head coach for the World Championships (2022) and World University Games (2019).

This past season, Holloway led the Wolfpack men to their 33rd ACC Championship team title in program history. The team scored 1499.5 points, including eight first-place finishes. In Indianapolis at the NCAA Championships, the men broke two American records and set numerous program records and personal bests on their way to earning 10 All-American honors and 10 Honorable Mention All-Americans. With a fifth-place finish, it marked the ninth consecutive year Holloway led the men to a top-10 finish at NCAAs.
