On Thursday evening, Governor Roy Cooper and First Lady Kristin Cooper welcomed Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio and Mrs. Kishida Yuko at RDU-International Airport. The visit marks a significant moment as the Prime Minister's first visit to North Carolina following a White House State Dinner hosted by President Biden in honor of the strong relationship between the United States and Japan.
