FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies North Carolina, Inc. has announced an expansion of its biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Wake County, with Governor Cooper revealing that the project will bring about the addition of 680 jobs and an investment of $1.2 billion in the Town of Holly Springs.
Governor Cooper emphasized the positive economic relationship between North Carolina and Japan, stating, "Japanese companies continue to provide good-paying jobs and economic opportunity for people across North Carolina."
Lars Petersen, President and CEO of FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, expressed gratitude to various stakeholders for their support in the expansion, highlighting the company's commitment to supporting a healthier society through advanced manufacturing capabilities.
