Veterans Benefits Live Event Returns to Cary, Providing VA Program Assistance and Resources

  • This service is for veterans and dependents who need to file a claim with the VA, have questions about appeals or benefits, or would like to know more about healthcare options.
  • This drop-in event will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Cary, NC – Veterans and their families from Wake County and the surrounding region are invited to the free Veterans Benefits Live assistance and resource-sharing event at Cary’s Herbert C. Young Community Center from March 23-25, 2023. This three-day event offers programming designed to help veterans and their families navigate the many services available to them. VA representatives and other partners will be on hand for one-on-one assistance with claims-related services, benefit-related VA programs, and PACT Act information.

The drop-in event will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 23 and Friday, March 24 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. Veterans and their dependents can expect services including on-site benefits claims assistance, VA healthcare eligibility and enrollment, legal assistance, peer-to-peer connection, and a range of other benefits-related services.

Veterans and their dependents should bring their DD214, medical and service records, and dependency documents.
