Please note: Orders must be made online and picked up at 134 N. Main Street, Fuquay-Varina. The Town does not ship items.

Town Tree Lighting

Celebrate the joy of the holiday season at the annual Town Tree Lighting on December 1! Join us in the Fuquay Business District at 6 p.m. for performances by local choral groups, an Artist Village, hot chocolate, sleigh rides, pictures with Santa, s'mores, and of course...the lighting of the tree! Santa will be located at the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park.

Letters to Santa - Special Delivery!

Youngsters are invited to drop off their letters to Santa at Santa's Mailbox located in the gazebo at the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park beginning December 2. Santa's mailbox will be up through December 17.  

Lights at Fuquay Mineral Spring Park

The Fuquay Mineral Spring Park will be decorated with lights beginning the first week in December and residents are invited to venture down to the park located at 104 Spring Street to see the majestic holiday lights which will be open nightly for self-guided tours until 10 p.m. Lights will be up through early January.

Downtown Tacky Sweater Party

Join us for the first Downtown Tacky Sweater Party on Saturday, December 3! Enjoy live music from Crush, food and beer trucks, and a rock wall from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Vance Street Lot.

Enter the tacky sweater contest for the chance to win a one-of-a-kind trophy and 50 Downtown Dollar$. This year's sweater categories are:

  • Tackiest Sweater
  • Most Festive Sweater
  • Best Head-to-Toe Outfit

Christmas Parade

The Fuquay-Varina Chamber will host the annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 4 at 4 p.m. in downtown. Note that the parade starts one-hour later than in past years.

Gingerbread House Contest

The Fuquay-Varina Junior Women's Club, in partnership with the Fuquay-Varina Arts Center, is proud to host the 3rd annual Gingerbread House Competition and Fundraiser. Houses will be on display December 2 - 16 at the Fuquay-Varina Arts Center in the Gallery. Register at www.fuquayjuniors.org

Shop with FVPD/Christmas Wishes Program

The Fuquay-Varina Police Department is currently raising funds for the annual Shop with FVPD/Christmas Wishes Program. Each year, there are children in Fuquay-Varina that would not have Christmas clothes and toys without this program. If you would like to donate, drop either cash or Walmart gift cards to DJ Bordeaux at the Police Department.

Toys for Tots

Many town facilities are official drop locations for the Toys for Tots program from November 1 - December 14. We need your help to bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to less fortunate children at Christmas. Drop Locations.

Holiday Food Drive

This holiday season, please help the Fuquay-Varina Fire Department stock the shelves at the Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry. Your unexpired, nonperishable food donations can be dropped off at any FVFD location between November 1 - December 14. How to participate in the Holiday Food Drive.

Fuquay-Varina Arts Center

The Fuquay-Varina Arts Center has a full holiday line-up of holiday performances including Christmas with the Embers, the Fuquay-Varina Chorale, the Nutcracker, and an Evening of Big Band Swing, Blues and Holiday Tunes featuring Gerald Parker Jazz Orchestra. Get tickets at the Box Office.
