Foster Grandparent Program Hosts Info Session on June 6

The City of Raleigh Foster Grandparent Program will be holding an informational meeting for any adults 55 years and older who are interested in volunteering 20 hours weekly with children in the community.

Volunteers will tutor children at local elementary schools and child development centers to set them on a path of lifelong academic achievement. Income eligible volunteers will be provided a tax-free hourly stipend. Orientation and training are provided, no experience is required. 

Please join us on Monday, June 6th from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at John Chavis Memorial Park, 505 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Raleigh, to hear more about the program and have questions answered by program staff and participants. Registration is not required!
