Turkey fryers aren't the only danger this Thanksgiving. The Raleigh Fire Department wants you to stay safe from cooking-related fires this holiday season. Here are some tips to keep you safe and activities for the kids.
Three easy ways to prevent a fire
- Never leave cooking unattended, including your turkey
- Use a timer to keep track of cooking times
- Always keep a lid beside your pan. If you have a fire slide the lid over pan and turn off burner.
