We are excited to share that the Wake BRT New Bern Ave. conceptual art designs are now available for public review. There are three separate surveys we are seeking feedback on:
- Glass Windscreen Artwork – Concept Designs
- Railing Artwork – Concept Designs
- Concrete Artwork – Concept Designs
Building upon the community engagement and work done by Artist in Resident Dare Coulter, the New Bern artists have developed conceptual designs to express the vibrancy and history of the community along the corridor. Each artist has pre-recorded a video narrating their designs, describing the inspiration and process behind the artwork. Residents and stakeholders can view the pre-recorded videos, conceptual designs, and submit feedback via the Public Input page. Public feedback will help inform the final art designs, which are expected to be completed in Fall 2022.
