Senator Vickie Sawyer, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 37th Senate district, recently shared messages on social media reflecting both her faith and community engagement.

On April 3, 2026, Sawyer posted about the significance of Good Friday: “Good Friday is a sacred reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice and the promise of redemption. May your heart be filled with His peace, love, and unfailing grace.”

Two days later, on April 5, she highlighted her participation in a local event focused on public safety: “Great evening at the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers throwing out the first pitch and raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving. Keeping our eyes on the road saves lives — let’s all do our part to drive safely! “

Later that same day, Sawyer marked Easter Sunday with another post centered on her Christian beliefs: “On this Resurrection Sunday, we’re reminded that even in the darkest moments, God’s limitless power brings light and hope to the world. Today we’re rejoicing in the risen Christ and the hope He delivers.”

Sawyer was elected to the North Carolina State Senate in 2023 after replacing Jeff Jackson as senator for District 37.
