Senator Phil Berger, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 26th Senate district since 2023, shared updates about recent events and political positions in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) this week.

On December 8, Berger highlighted his participation in local seasonal celebrations, posting: “I had a great time this weekend ringing in the holiday season with events across District 26! #ncpol https://t.co/TvK4URtYA3”.

The following day, he addressed state economic policy and partisan debate over tax cuts. In his post dated December 9, Berger wrote: “Thank you, @realDonaldTrump, for fighting for hardworking families! Democrats like @RoyCooperNC tried to block our efforts in NC, but we’ve proved that the best way to fuel economic growth is through income tax cuts. #ncpol https://t.co/QXio3HVtsd”.

Later that same day, Berger referenced agricultural advocacy at a major industry event. He stated: “It was an honor to join the North Carolina Farm Bureau for its 90th annual conference! I will continue to work with my colleagues in the #NCGA to advocate for the livelihoods of farmers and the protection of farmland. #ncpol https://t.co/im097iIJOz”.

Berger assumed office in 2023 after being elected to represent North Carolina’s 26th Senate district. He succeeded Dave Craven as senator for the district.
