The following day, on June 5, Senator Jackson provided an update regarding the venue for the planned celebration. He informed followers that “Please note that Willie Weeks Day has been moved indoors due to the weather forecast! The celebration will now take place at Salemburg Town Hall/Municipal Building, 100 Methodist Drive, Salemburg, NC.” This change ensured that attendees could enjoy the event without concern for inclement weather.
