Representative Brian Echevarria, a Republican elected to the North Carolina State House in 2025 for the 82nd district, has recently posted several statements on his Twitter account addressing national loyalty, school policies, and personal pride in family.

On April 8, 2026, Echevarria questioned the rationale behind certain Americans’ attitudes toward their country. He wrote: “First I have seen of this woman’s post. What is rational about hoping your own nation loses and your own pilot dies? This is more than a domestic difference in policy, these Americans hate America. #ncpol #northcarolina #IranWar‌ https://t.co/ofmEJ1gQEy”.

In another post dated April 11, 2026, he criticized local school policies regarding bathroom access. Echevarria stated: “This is WRONG! Boys in girls bathrooms and locker rooms? I understand that there is now a SECOND school in Cabarrus County allowing it. Young ladies have been advised they must use staff facilities if they are uncomfortable with boys in the girls spaces.#gaslight much? As https://t.co/CLcGk4gf16”.

Later that same day, he expressed support for a young man identified as @Echevarria2026 by posting: “Proud of this young man. Great son. Great brother. Great student. Great athlete. Great story being written. It’s go time! @Echevarria2026 #familyisourstory #northcarolina #ambassadorchristianfootball https://t.co/ryEToqaN4b”.

Brian Echevarria succeeded Kristin Baker as representative of North Carolina’s 82nd House district after winning election in 2025.
