Rep. Neal Jackson, a Republican elected in 2023 to the North Carolina State House representing the 78th district, has recently used his social media platform to discuss issues affecting local families, farmers, and immigration policy.
On August 2, 2025, Jackson addressed his constituents with a weekend greeting and highlighted legislative efforts on behalf of the agricultural community. He wrote: “Good Saturday Morning!! Let’s kick off this August weekend celebrating our hardworking families and farmers. I’m honored to fight for you in Raleigh, with bills like HB 62 to shield farmers from unfair ESG policies.
What are your plans this weekend? Share below!
#NCStrong”.
Turning to immigration enforcement on August 4, Jackson criticized Roy Cooper’s stance as insufficiently rigorous. In his words: “Roy Cooper is SOFT on immigration enforcement -NOT what NC needs in a U.S. Senator!
By rejecting a bill requiring local law enforcement to work with feds to deport criminal illegal immigrants, Cooper puts politics over public safety. HB 10 was about protecting our”.
The following day, Jackson praised former President Donald Trump for recent federal actions at the border: “BREAKING: Trump delivers on Immigration!
3rd month in a row with ZERO illegals released into the U.S. Talk is cheap, Trump Produces!
#Trump2025 #BorderSecurity #AmericaFirst”.
Jackson succeeded Allen McNeill after being elected in 2023 and has positioned himself as an advocate for both agricultural interests and stricter immigration measures within North Carolina’s legislative agenda.
