Rep. Kelly Hastings, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 110th House district since 2011, recently shared updates on his participation in several community events via social media.
On August 14, 2025, Hastings expressed gratitude for his invitation to a local gathering by posting, “Thankful to be invited to represent the General Assembly at the @AmericanLegion & @ALWS_Shelby host city event. There were reportedly over 700 patriots at the event, & the food was great. #ncpol https://t.co/bVS49UiAji”.
Two days later, on August 16, he commented on another public appearance: “Very grateful to be invited to speak at the 250th Anniversary of The Tryon Resolves @Tryonotafire70 in @GastonCounty, #NorthCarolina . We had a huge crowd. https://t.co/fuHglJqAG0”.
Later that same day, Hastings noted his attendance at a sports and military recognition event: “A nice day to travel to the @AmericanLegion @ALWS_Shelby (World Series) in @clevelandcounty, #NorthCarolina, for Military Appreciation Day. #ncpol https://t.co/X7rJeB72Pz”.
Hastings has represented North Carolina’s 110th House district since his election in 2011, succeeding Pearl Burris-Floyd. His ongoing presence at community gatherings and commemorative events is consistent with his long-standing role as a state legislator.
