Rep. Jeff Zenger, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 74th House district since 2021, has announced his re-election bid and highlighted recent legislative efforts through a series of posts on social media.
On December 1, 2025, Zenger stated, “I officially filed for re-election today to keep serving the people of Forsyth County. I’m grateful for the support of my wife, Julie, and proud to file alongside Sen. Dana Jones. Let’s keep working for strong families, safe communities, and responsible government.”
The following day, he addressed online child safety initiatives: “I introduced the Social Media Protections for Minors Act to keep kids safe online and give parents more control. It requires age verification, parental consent for kids under 16, and tough penalties for companies that put profits over child safety.” This post was published on December 2, 2025.
On December 4, 2025, Zenger turned attention to workforce development: “I sponsored legislation to strengthen North Carolina’s workforce and help small businesses fill jobs faster. The law streamlines licensing for qualified professionals while keeping strong standards. It supports NC jobs and the businesses that depend on them.”
Zenger succeeded Wes Schollander in the North Carolina State House in 2021 after being elected to represent the state’s 74th House district.
