Rep. Jarrod Lowery, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 47th House district since 2023, shared his thoughts on recent college football developments through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) in early December 2025.

On December 6, Lowery questioned Alabama’s position in the college football rankings following their loss to Georgia. He wrote, “I don’t see how Alabama is in with a lost to Georgia tonight.”

Later that evening, Lowery posted a list of college football teams in order of preference or ranking, stating: “IN THIS ORDER- Ohio State(pending win) Georgia Texas Tech Indiana Oregon Texas A&M Miami Ole Miss Virginia(pending win) Oklahoma BYU Tulane” on December 7.

In another post from the early hours of December 7, Lowery commented on the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game: “A lot of shade was thrown at the @theACC Championship game BUT it has been by far the most exciting of them all.”

Lowery began serving as state representative after being elected in 2023 and succeeded Charles Graham. His recent social media activity reflects ongoing public and political interest in collegiate athletics during the postseason period.
