Rep. Charlie Miller, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 19th district since 2021, recently shared reflections on his participation in swearing-in ceremonies for newly elected officials across several communities in his district.

On December 17, 2025, Miller posted: “Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had the distinct honor of administering the oath of office to newly elected officials in communities across our district — including Boiling Spring Lakes, Carolina Beach, Varnamtown, Southport, and Kure Beach.”

In a subsequent post on the same day, he stated: “Each ceremony was a reminder of the strength of our local leadership and the commitment these individuals have to serving their neighbors.”

Miller concluded his remarks with another message posted on December 17: “Congratulations to all. I look forward to working alongside each of you to keep our communities strong and prosperous. “

Miller has served as a representative for North Carolina’s 19th House district since his election in 2021. He succeeded Ted Davis Jr., continuing a tradition of Republican representation for that area.
