Rep. Brenden Jones, a North Carolina politician, recently made several announcements through his social media account regarding legislative developments and political commentary.

On June 9, Rep. Jones questioned the actions of the North Carolina Democrats in a tweet asking, “Did the NC Dems drop their hourly rate for paid protestors? #ncpol”.

The following day, on June 10, he shared news concerning legislative progress by stating, “As Vice Chairman of the House Rules Committee, I’m proud to announce that Constitutional Carry (SB 50) has cleared Rules and is heading to the House floor! This is a big step forward for our Second Amendment rights! #ncpol”. This announcement highlights a significant development for proponents of gun rights in North Carolina.

Later that day, Rep. Jones communicated another legislative milestone with his followers by declaring, “Proud to announce that HB 318 the Criminal Illegal Alien Enforcement Act has officially passed the NC Senate and is about to be sitting on the governor’s desk! HB 318 ensures that dangerous illegal aliens are transferred to ICE and not released back into our communities! #ncpol”. The bill addresses immigration enforcement within the state.
