Rep. Ben Moss, a Republican serving North Carolina’s 52nd House district, recently shared updates on legislative efforts and commemorative events through his social media account.

On May 4, 2026, Moss posted about new legislation targeting workplace compliance and enforcement: “This bill holds bad actors accountable with stronger penalties, while giving honest employers a fair chance to correct first-time mistakes. It also empowers the N.C. Commissioner of Labor to conduct compliance checks and protects workers who report violations in good faith.” In a subsequent post on the same day, he emphasized the intent behind the measure: “This is about restoring integrity to the system and making sure the law is enforced fairly and consistently across North Carolina.”

In another message published on May 7, 2026, Moss marked the National Day of Prayer with a call for unity and reflection: “On this National Day of Prayer, let us come together in gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy and pray for God’s continued guidance over our nation. May He bless our troops, protect our law enforcement officers, and strengthen families across North Carolina.”

Moss was elected to represent North Carolina’s 52nd House district in 2023, succeeding Jamie Boles as state representative.
