Rep. Allen Chesser, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 25th district since 2023, recently posted several updates on his social media account highlighting local honors and law enforcement activities.

On March 25, 2026, Chesser commemorated recipients of the Medal of Honor from his community. He wrote, “Today we honor the recipients of our nation’s highest military award – the Medal of Honor. At Laughery Park in Rocky Mount are the names of three local men whose valor earned them this distinction: Captain Hugh Nelson, Lieutenant Harold Durham, and Rear Admiral Adolphus Staton.”

Two days later, on March 27, 2026, Chesser acknowledged a law enforcement operation in Tennessee by posting: “Today, Nashville PD held a press conference announcing the success of an undercover operation that led to the arrests of 16 suspected child predators. Thank you to the men and women across multiple law enforcement agencies who made this possible.

If you come to our state to prey”

Later that same day, he promoted his legislative newsletter with a brief post: “Check out my legislative newsletter! #ncpol #ncga”

Chesser has served in the North Carolina State House since being elected in 2023 to represent District 25, succeeding James Gailliard.
