Rep. Allen Chesser, a Republican representing North Carolina’s 25th House district, has recently posted a series of updates on his social media account addressing local events, public safety, and concerns about property taxes.
On March 14, 2026, Chesser shared his participation in a community event by stating: “Joined a great crowd in Rocky Mount this afternoon to welcome Vice President Vance to our community! #ncga #ncpol https://t.co/4TkWyO5ugR”.
Two days later, on March 16, 2026, he issued a public safety advisory regarding severe weather conditions: “We’re expected to experience severe weather today. Please be sure to stay safe, and to check https://t.co/S2CBUaWIpT for updates on weather conditions and potential power outages. #ncpol #ncga https://t.co/NmWoBiZsmm”.
On March 17, 2026, Chesser addressed the issue of rising property taxes in North Carolina with the following statement: “Property taxes in North Carolina are out of control, and some local governments are taking advantage of hardworking taxpayers.
Families are getting ripped off as counties municipalities rake in massive revenue increases far beyond what inflation and population growth would https://t.co/TUgW3AWvfW”.
Chesser was elected to the North Carolina State House in 2023 after replacing former state representative James Gailliard. He represents constituents from the state’s 25th House district.
