North Carolina governor offers $25,000 reward in Gaston County murder case

North Carolina Governor Josh Stein has announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of John Luke Moore. Moore, 32, was killed during a home invasion on July 26, 2021, at Allison Avenue in Gastonia.

Governor Stein emphasized the importance of community involvement in solving such cases. “We must use every tool at our disposal to pursue justice for victims,” said Governor Josh Stein. “I urge North Carolinians who have information about these cases to contact local law enforcement and help us provide closure to victims’ families.”

According to authorities, video surveillance captured three masked individuals breaking into Moore’s residence before fleeing the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
