The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) has expressed approval of the decisions made during the June 21, 2025 meeting of the North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE). At this meeting, the full membership for each of North Carolina’s 100 county boards of election was selected. Additionally, State Auditor Dave Boliek named the chairs for these county boards.

NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons commented on the actions taken by the NCSBE, stating, “The State Board of Elections is acting to correct numerous errors which have been identified for years as issues. This is an encouraging step towards restoring trust in state elections.”
