Mike Schietzelt, a Republican recently elected to the North Carolina State House representing District 35, has highlighted community partnerships and local initiatives in a series of posts on social media.
On August 18, 2025, Schietzelt responded briefly to an unspecified query with “No.”
Two days later, on August 19, he marked a milestone for a local business by posting: “15 years! It was a treat celebrating with WRC Technologies and its founder, Gerry Hayes. WRC has been a great partner for Wake Forest and for our region. And there are big developments in the pipeline!”
Most recently, on August 22, Schietzelt expressed support for efforts addressing food insecurity in his district. He wrote: “What a pleasure to support Kevin Meese and the WARM Cafe (Welcoming All Regardless of Means) tonight. Their vision to address food insecurity in Wake Forest is inspiring and so important.
Thank you to @unwinedwf for hosting this evening!”
Schietzelt assumed office after winning election in 2025, succeeding Terence Everitt as the representative for North Carolina’s 35th House district.
