Mike Schietzelt, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent North Carolina’s 35th House district, has used his social media platform in recent days to highlight local events, law enforcement efforts, and upcoming discussions on legal topics.
On August 12, 2025, Schietzelt posted about a meeting with Rep. Brad Knott at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce: “Great to see @bradknottfornc at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce this morning. We’re blessed to live in an exceptionally dynamic region, and I appreciate Rep. Knott joining us to discuss infrastructure, education, healthcare, and more.”
Two days later, on August 13, 2025, Schietzelt expressed gratitude toward several law enforcement agencies for their work: “Huge thank you to ALE, SBI, and Raleigh PD for bringing these people to justice. This issue is personal–we have to get these substances off our streets.”
Schietzelt also announced an upcoming episode featuring another political figure. On August 15, 2025 he wrote: “Stay tuned for our next episode, when @CampbellforNC becomes an expert on the Dormant Commerce Clause!”
Schietzelt was elected to the North Carolina State House in 2025 after replacing former state representative Terence Everitt as the representative for District 35.
