Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland shared a series of posts on her official Twitter account in early September 2025, highlighting both calls for government transparency and moments from her public engagements.

On September 3, Strickland posted a direct message to House Republicans: “.@HouseGOP, release the #EpsteinFiles.” This statement referenced ongoing demands for the disclosure of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The following day, Strickland shared aspects of her media appearances. On September 4, she tweeted: “Went live with Don Lemon! Check out some behind-the-scenes shots.” Later that same day, she added another post: “Also got to introduce Don to my Louisiana staffer!”

Strickland was elected as a Republican to the North Carolina State House in 2017, representing the state’s 28th House district after succeeding James Langdon, Jr.
