On March 31, Strickland acknowledged International Transgender Day of Visibility by stating, “Today we honor #InternationalTransgenderDayofVisibility by recognizing the joy and resilience of transgender people across the world.”
The following day, April 1, she extended greetings for Passover with a message to her constituents: “Chag Sameach. Happy #Passover to the #SouthSound and those who celebrate across our nation.”
On April 2, Strickland described a recent meeting with Pierce County’s elections office: “It was great meeting with @PierceCountyAud! I appreciated hearing more about their work to uplift our community and keep our democracy accessible to all who call the #SouthSound home.”
