Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland has recently made a series of posts on her official Twitter account, addressing topics ranging from the rights of immigrants in the United States to criticism of the House GOP.
On July 22, 2025, Strickland posted in Chinese: “无论移民身份如何， 在美国的每个 人都享有受保障的基本权利。” (“Regardless of immigration status, everyone in America enjoys protected basic rights.”)
The following day, July 23, 2025, she commented on the actions of the House GOP: “The @HouseGOP is too scared to govern. Got a #MAGA Red Yo-Yo, felt right for the occasion.”
On July 24, 2025, Strickland continued her critique with another post: “The @HouseGOP doesn’t understand that people just want a shot at a good life. Instead they lie and steal from the American people.”
Marilyn Strickland represents Washington’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has previously advocated for immigrant rights and frequently comments on national legislative developments and party politics.
