Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland has recently addressed a range of issues in a series of posts on her official Twitter account, including political commentary, tribal partnerships, and concerns over affordability and healthcare.

On December 3, 2025, Strickland directed a brief message to Speaker Johnson, stating: “Flip it around, @SpeakerJohnson.”

The following day, December 4, she highlighted her meeting with Nisqually Tribe Chairman Ken Choke in Washington D.C., emphasizing the importance of collaboration with tribal leaders. She wrote: “It was good seeing Nisqually Tribe Chairman Ken Choke again in my DC office. The partnership with our Tribal leaders at home is crucial in protecting our environment, preserving our salmon population, and serving our community.”

On December 5, Strickland commented on economic challenges facing Americans under Republican leadership. She posted: “Price hikes and health care cuts – Republicans in charge continue to make living unaffordable for millions of hardworking Americans.”

Marilyn Strickland serves as a U.S. Congresswoman and has previously held public office; she was elected to the North Carolina State House in 2017 to represent the state’s 28th House district after James Langdon, Jr.
