Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently used her social media platform to comment on current political issues and share community engagement activities.

On December 2, 2025, Strickland posted about her visit with local students: “I spoke with 8th grade students at @NTPSnews’ Nisqually Middle School! Thank you for inviting me to join your class and share what it’s like to be a Member of Congress.”

The following day, she addressed national policy concerns in a tweet dated December 3, 2025: “.@POTUS and the @HouseGOP promised affordability. Instead they:

-Started trade wars and raised prices for families by $700,
-Gutted health care for millions of Americans,
-Raised the cost of living for everyone.”

Later that same day, Strickland added further criticism regarding congressional leadership: “In case anyone forgot – the Republicans in charge spent 2025 creating chaos for the American people.”

Marilyn Strickland has been active in public service since being elected to represent Washington’s 10th Congressional District. Her recent posts reflect ongoing debates over economic policy and legislative priorities within Congress.
