Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland has used her social media platform to address issues ranging from regional advocacy to national political events, according to posts made on January 5 and 6, 2026.

On January 5, Strickland shared a message highlighting her work for her constituency: “Visit https://t.co/mGJeDhHKuJ to learn more about how I put the #SouthSound first. https://t.co/tGKwq3mFl9 https://t.co/5qQyohF90b”.

The following day, she referenced the anniversary of the January 6 Capitol attack: “Five years ago, our nation was forever changed by the insurrection on the Capitol.

Despite Republican attempts to erase history, @HouseDemocrats will never forget in defense of American democracy.”
(January 6, 2026).
