Leaf Mulch BOGO Extended for Raleigh Residents

0Comments

The City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services Department has extended the Spring BOGO sale on its leaf mulch product. Residents can now visit the Raleigh Yard Waste Center through September 30 and get one cubic yard (CY) of leaf mulch at no cost for every CY purchased.

“We have the inventory and the season is prime for Raleigh residents to get their home gardens off to a great start,” said Yard Waste Center Superintendent Tim Gainer.

Leaf mulch is normally $20 per cubic yard — about the size of a standard household oven. The Buy One Get One offer allows residents to get a free CY for every CY purchased. No appointment is necessary, and the promotion is open to everyone. Residents are responsible for the pickup and transport of the mulch product after purchase.

The Yard Waste Center is located at 900 N. New Hope Road. The facility is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
