On Thursday, May 15, former Cardinal Gibbons High School standout Jacob Larkins’ current collegiate team the Belmont Abbey Crusaders won 5-4 against the Carson-Newman Eagles in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Abbey Yard at 6:25 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Carson-Newman Eagles in the tournament.

The Belmont Abbey Crusaders’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 6:10 p.m. at Abbey Yard.
