The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the New Jersey Devils in Game 2 of their playoff series on Tuesday. The team is expected to maintain the same lineup, with Frederik Andersen anticipated to start in goal. Andersen is coming off an impressive performance in Game 1, where he stopped 23 of 24 shots, continuing his playoff career with a .912 save percentage in 20 games with the Hurricanes.

On the ice, forward Logan Stankoven seeks to build on his two-goal contribution from the previous game. Defenseman Jaccob Slavin is poised to surpass Rod Brind’Amour in the franchise’s list for most playoff games, moving into third place with his 73rd playoff game. He trails only Jordan Staal and Sebastian Aho, who have each played 75 postseason games.

The Carolina Hurricanes’ projected lineup remains:

Forwards:
– Jarvis, Aho, Blake
– Hall, Kotkaniemi, Svechnikov
– Martinook, Staal, Stankoven
– Robinson, Roslovic, Carrier

Defense:
– Slavin, Burns
– Orlov, Chatfield
– Gostisbehere, Walker

Goaltenders:
– Andersen, with Kochetkov as the backup

Jesper Fast is out for the season due to a neck injury, while Mark Jankowski, Tyson Jost, and Riley Stillman are listed as scratches.

The first power-play unit will consist of Aho, Blake, Jarvis, and Svechnikov with Gostisbehere, while the second unit will feature Hall, Kotkaniemi, Roslovic, and Stankoven with Burns.

Fanatics Sportsbook has set the Hurricanes as favorites with odds of -275.
