The Carolina Hurricanes have revealed their schedule for the first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. They will compete against the New Jersey Devils starting Sunday at 3 p.m. in Lenovo Center. Tickets remain available.

This will be the sixth playoff encounter between the two teams. The Hurricanes hold a series record of 4-1 against the Devils, having been defeated in the first round in 2001 but claiming victories against them in subsequent years including 2002, 2006, 2009, and 2023.

Carolina will have home advantage in the seven-game series. The Hurricanes have achieved a 45-26 all-time postseason record at Lenovo Center and have won 12 of the last 15 playoff series that began at home since 2002. This marks the team’s seventh consecutive playoff appearance, a first since the franchise moved to North Carolina.

For fans, all first-round games will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network, both on television and online. The commentary team will consist of Mike Maniscalco as the play-by-play announcer, Tripp Tracy as analyst, and Hanna Yates as reporter. Yates will also host the network’s game-day coverage, Hurricanes LIVE, along with analyst Shane Willis.

β€œIt’s official β€” we’re dancing with the Devils again. Round 1 is set, and the Loudest House is calling. Lock in your seat now and experience playoff hockey, Raleighwood-style.” The 2025 first-round schedule outlines which games are to be played, with some games marked as necessary only.
