After a double-overtime loss in Game 3, the Carolina Hurricanes are preparing to face the New Jersey Devils in Game 4. The Hurricanes hope to regain their momentum and bring the series back to Raleigh with a stronger position.

The puck will drop at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 27. Fans can tune in to FanDuel Sports Network South, TBS, truTV, Max; SN, SN360, and TVAS to watch the game, or listen live on 99.9 The Fan and the Hurricanes App. According to Fanatics Sportsbook, the odds favor the Hurricanes at -170. Carolina leads the series 2-1.

The series began with a dominant performance by the Hurricanes, who won Game 1 with Logan Stankoven scoring twice and Frederik Andersen making 23 saves. Game 2 also saw success for Carolina with a 3-1 victory, thanks to Jordan Martinook’s contributions and another solid performance by Andersen. Game 3, however, ended in heartbreak for the Hurricanes when the Devils clinched the win in the second overtime.

Seth Jarvis has made significant contributions, surpassing Sebastian Aho in franchise history for the most playoff goals by a player 23 or younger. His impressive playoff record now stands at 15 goals, placing him seventh overall in Hurricanes/Whalers history.

Frederik Andersen has performed well in the net, ranking second among playoff goaltenders in both save percentage and goals-against average. Carolina’s head coach, Rod Brind’Amour, remains noncommittal about the starting netminder for Game 4, saying that Andersen will continue if he feels good.

On the Devils’ side, the return of Jonas Siegenthaler provided a boost in Game 3. However, the team faces challenges due to injuries, including Johnathan Kovacevic’s departure in the last game. Brenden Dillon and Luke Hughes remain unavailable for Game 4.

Simon Nemec emerged as the overtime hero for the Devils on Friday, becoming the youngest player in Devils history to score an overtime goal in the playoffs.

The Hurricanes will wear their white uniforms away and look forward to returning to Raleigh for a scheduled practice before Game 5 at Lenovo Center on Tuesday. Fans unable to attend the games can watch broadcasts or join events at designated locations.

Following the game, the series will continue with Game 5 scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m.
