Grant Campbell, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 83rd district, posted several comments on his social media account on April 16, 2026.
In one post from that day, Campbell wrote: “I must’ve missed the Thugology course when I went to medical school. #ncpol https://t.co/VUXkldyiKN https://t.co/W7qK3GfWHs” (April 16, 2026).
Later in the day, he addressed funding for a home care provider: “Wilsons Home Care received $12 million in taxpayer dollars, yet they currently have two abandoned buildings listed as offices… #ncpol https://t.co/wxGgfrnbAS https://t.co/hmU0gCHywQ” (April 16, 2026).
In another post that evening, Campbell stated: “See…everything is going to be ok. https://t.co/02T87SR8D6” (April 16, 2026).
Campbell was elected to the North Carolina State House in 2025 and succeeded Kevin Crutchfield as representative for the state’s 83rd House district.
