Governor Josh Stein has announced a financial incentive to aid in the resolution of a murder case in Brunswick County. The state is offering up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Bryan Tyronne Montreal Goodwin, 31, who is a suspect in the murder of Jaquin Kymane Bethea, Jr., 33.

The incident dates back to August 6, 2024, when Bethea’s body was discovered in an abandoned residence on Ridge Road in the Supply area. Bethea had been shot twice, with multiple shell casings found at the scene. The suspect, Goodwin, has since been identified but remains at large.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Goodwin’s location to contact the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 713-6071 or the State Bureau of Investigation at (919) 662-4500.
