Erin Paré, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 37th district since 2021, shared several updates on her social media account in mid-August 2025.
On August 15, Paré expressed gratitude to a local educator, posting: “Thank you Ms. Joanna Johnson for bringing joy to @WillowSpringsES students every day. We will miss you and appreciate you!”
Later that day, she attended a transportation event and noted its significance: “Today I had the privilege of attending the NCDOT Dedication Ceremony for the new Deputy Ned P Byrd Bridge, named after Wake County Sheriff’s Deputy Ned Byrd who was tragically shot and killed three years ago while on duty by two illegal aliens. I had the privilege of meeting”
On August 17, Paré participated in a cultural celebration hosted by the Hindu Society of North Carolina. She wrote: “Today, I had the privilege of being invited to attend and speak at the Hindu Society of North Carolina’s 79th India Independence Day Celebration in Morrisville, alongside a host of state and local leaders. It was good to be there to celebrate with the Indian-American community”
Paré has served as state representative since her election in 2021, succeeding Sydney Batch as part of North Carolina’s House District 37.
