Erin Paré, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 37th district since 2021, recently shared several posts on social media discussing legislative developments and state policy.
On August 18, 2025, Paré highlighted information from a colleague about recent legislation: “Helpful information about legislation passed by the #ncga from my colleague and friend Dr. @CampbellforNC !”
Two days later, on August 19, she commented on Governor Stein’s veto of HB87 by referencing an editorial: “The @WSJopinion is correct here that Gov. Stein’s veto of HB87 makes zero sense.#ncpol”
On August 21, Paré discussed her support for a Back-to-School sales tax holiday as part of the House budget: “As the mom of two kiddos headed back to school next week, I was very happy to support a Back-to-School sales tax holiday in the House budget. Every mom, dad, and grandparent knows as Wayne and I do that raising kids is expensive, and getting prepared for school requires a lot of”
Paré succeeded Sydney Batch in representing North Carolina’s 37th House district after being elected in 2021.
