Two days later, on August 19, she commented on Governor Stein’s veto of HB87 by referencing an editorial: “The @WSJopinion is correct here that Gov. Stein’s veto of HB87 makes zero sense.#ncpol”
On August 21, Paré discussed her support for a Back-to-School sales tax holiday as part of the House budget: “As the mom of two kiddos headed back to school next week, I was very happy to support a Back-to-School sales tax holiday in the House budget. Paré succeeded Sydney Batch in representing North Carolina’s 37th House district after being elected in 2021.
