Erin Paré, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 37th district since 2021, recently shared several updates on legislative developments and political endorsements through her social media account.

On December 1, 2025, Paré announced the enactment of new legislation in North Carolina. She stated, “We will never forget Iryna and what happened to her. As of today, Iryna’s Law is now in effect across NC. This bill is a win for public safety and I was proud to vote for it. The bill restricts cashless bail, holds magistrates accountable, and ensures mental-health evaluations.”

Later that evening, Paré addressed ongoing challenges in state budget negotiations between legislative chambers. On December 1, she wrote, “Although the current impasse between the House and Senate on a comprehensive budget is frankly very frustrating to me, I want to highlight why the House passed budget is worth fighting for. Here are two great reasons why the budget I was part of putting together is worth https://t.co/Jrk1TYzzrp”

Paré also endorsed a fellow public servant on December 1 by posting: “Great man and public servant – vote Ratledge #ncpol https://t.co/eOHFG3bJvE”

Paré began serving in the North Carolina State House after being elected in 2021 to represent District 37, succeeding Sydney Batch.
