Erin Paré, a North Carolina state legislator, addressed issues ranging from personal appeals to fiscal policy and economic growth in a series of posts on her social media account.
On July 15, 2025, Paré requested support for a colleague by posting: “Please keep my friend @LisaStoneBarnes and her family in your prayers.”
Two days later, on July 16, 2025, she commented on the rising property tax burden in Wake County: “Just paid an arm and a leg for my personal home #WakeCounty property taxes. We’ve lived here for well over a decade and every time our taxes have gone up. I can only imagine how painful this is for seniors on a fixed income. We need fiscal discipline, relief for seniors, and” Property tax increases have been an ongoing concern in Wake County as assessments have risen steadily over recent years.
On July 18, 2025, Paré highlighted economic trends in the state with another post: “STEM salaries are rising. Job growth is surging. And North Carolina is dominating national rankings.
Republican leadership in the General Assembly isn’t just working, it’s winning.” In recent years, North Carolina has seen notable job growth and improvements in STEM fields’ compensation under Republican legislative leadership.
Paré serves as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives and has represented District 37 since January 2021.
