On Sunday, March 23, former Word of God Christian Academy standout Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn’s current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini lost 84-75 against the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Fiserv Forum, this was the first game against the Kentucky Wildcats during the championship.

Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn’s hometown is Lafayette and game position is guard.
