Congresswoman Deborah Ross, representing North Carolina’s 2nd district since 2021, has expressed her views on several key issues through a series of tweets. A graduate of Brown University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ross has been an active political figure since her tenure in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2003 to 2013.

On March 25, 2025, Congresswoman Ross addressed concerns regarding the potential dismissal of EPA researchers. She stated, “EPA scientists dedicate themselves to protecting the American people every day. I won’t stand by while the administration tries to fire over 1,000 EPA researchers.”

Later that day, she commented on the importance of the Department of Education. In her tweet posted at 21:27:34 UTC, she emphasized, “The Department of Education was formed to provide every student an equal opportunity to succeed. Eliminating it would harm millions of students, parents, and teachers across our state.”

On March 26, 2025, Ross addressed a national security issue involving classified information. At 15:34:55 UTC she tweeted about a breach involving Signal chat communications and demanded accountability. She asserted that “The Signal chat clearly included classified information — despite the lies coming out of the White House. Hegseth endangered our troops and national security. He must resign or be fired immediately.”
